You push open the door carefully. You are balancing a heavy basket of dirty clothes and don't want to put it down to open the door. As you enter the door, you are hit with a gust of hot air. Shaking your head, you ponder why laundry rooms are always so blasted hot. You look around as you sigh. Along the north wall, there are five medium-sized washing machines, and, on the wall opposite them, there are five similar sized dryers. You begin to unload your basket into an empty washing machine as you think, This is a perfect place to...wash clothes. Smiling, you go about your business.

You hesitantly push open the door and walk inside the school. It is a giant stone building that has been refurbished; it was once some rich guy's mansion. The entrance hall alone could house a decent-sized family's home. The stone walls echo your footsteps as you cross it. Along the walls hang pictures of people. You don't know of whom they are from the distance from which you are looking at them, though, yet you don't want to take a closer look yet.

The school, actually a refurbished mansion, has three huge floors where classes are held. Below them, are the dining hall, kitchens, entrance hall, and laundry room. The only things on the fifth floor are the teacher's and student lounges and three doorways. Through each of the doorways there is a passage that leads to a tower. Each tower houses the boys, girls, or teachers, each with their own common room.
There are multiple classrooms on each of the three floors, however only some are actively in use at any given time. The first of these floors is designated as the history floor. All the classes taugh here have to do with history or other cultures. According to the Headmistress, the first step in the process of becoming an evil genius is to study past villains and their mistakes. The next step is learning about the area of which you are trying to gain control; a henchman must be able to blend with the populace in order to commit vile acts and the ilk.
The second floor is dedicated to languages and critical thinking. Languages are important because it helps with blending in with the unsuspecting civilians. Critical thinking, while not necessarily looked favorable upon by villains of the past, is necessary to become successful or to help others on the path to success. Customarily, minions were supposed to be blindly loyal without any thinking abilities. However, this led to people too afraid to speak up even if it would mean the failure of the attack. Critical thinking will turn out smarter henchmen.
The final class floor is the science floor. This is where Assistant Headmistress Kalina Connor teaches about poisons. She teaches classes on how to grow the plants, how to recognize them, how to properly cut off the portions needed, and how to mix the poisons. It is never a good idea to rely on others to mix poisons for you.
Of course, that is just the school itself. Outside, there is a fighting salle (where Headmistress Cera Dragoneska teaches fighting of all styles), a lake (where swimming is taught), and practice fields (to practice a number of things), and a greenhouse (where Assistant Headmistress Kalina Conner teaches the advanced students).
Currently, you are on the Science Floor. There are many winding hallways with multiple doors in them that lead to identical classrooms. Each class has ten tables that seat two people. No class will ever have more than twenty students at a time, so don't worry about not having enough space. At the front of the room, there is a giant chalkboard that takes up the entire wall. Directly in front of that, there is a large desk for the teacher. It is neatly organized, awaiting class to begin.

You walk into the student lounge and are amazed at how similar it is to your common room. It manages to project an air of comfort as well as be a perfect place for studying. There is no doubt in your mind that it doubles as the school library, though. The large, rectangular room is approximately half-filled with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves that can provide useful references for all sorts of homework assignments. In the other half of the room, there are a few sofas with low tables between them. There are also tables of all different shapes where people can work in groups on assignments. It is the perfect place to relax or get some work done, depending on your mood.

Considering that the school houses close to a thousand students, the kitchen is a relatively small room. Complete with multiple ovens and stovetop burners, four refrigerator and freezers, three microwaves, two toasters, six dishwashers, and a lot of pantries, the entire room is smaller than fifty feet on each side. All the appliances are placed along the outer rim of the room; on the inside, eight stainless steel tables are arranged in rows with walking space in between each one. In one corner, there is a small hole out of which comes a conveyor belt. The dirty dishes are taken off of it and placed in a dishwasher to be cleaned. Then, they are put on a cart to be taken back to the Dining Hall.
A staff of five professional cooks stay on hand to prepare the three meals a day and there is always at least one in the kitchen until curfew to point you in the direction of a proper snack. All the food in the pantry marked "Snacks" is allowed to be eaten at any time. The kitchen-masters would appreciate that everyone refrains from taking from the other cabinets since meals for so many have to be prepared and measured exactly for there to be enough. The only rule is that you clean up after yourself and don't leave a mess.
While the cooks never need any help, a popular detention is to assign kitchen duty to a student. It is never sure what that child will be doing since the kitchen-masters can require anything from helping cook to cleaning plates to reorganizing the food closets.

Speech

You find yourself in a large, rectangular room. Along the east side there is a buffet line where food is currently being placed for consumption. On the opposite wall, there is a conveyor-belt for used trays to be placed. They would travel to the kitchens where they would be cleaned for reuse. throughout the rest of the room there are placed several round tables, all of differing sizes. Some have four chairs, some two, some six, some eight, some ten. The walls are all a boring shade of gray and the tiles on the floor are black. Adorning the walls there are pictures. You cannot quite tell what they are from where you are standing, but you presume they are of graduates, teachers, alumni, or evil villains. Possibly all of the above. You make a note to look closer later.
While you see an elevated level that is presumably meant for a teacher's table, there are simply more tales scattered up there. Instead of sitting at one table all together, the teachers have spread around the room, only one or two sitting at a table together. You are confused, but figure you will be told the reason soon enough.
Following the lead of the older students, you walk to the buffet. First, you take a large tray. Then, you take silverware, a plate, a napkin, and a cup. You move behind the person in front of you, selecting the food you want and placing it on your plate. At the end of the line, there is a soda fountain from which you select your drink and place it in your cup. When you are finished, you pick up your tray and find a table to sit at. Seeing that no one, not even the teachers, are eating, you do the same. You sit there, wondering how much longer it will be until you can eat, as your stomach is rumbling. While you wait, you examine the table. On the other end, there is a small golden plack that stands out on the black surface. You have no clue what tree the wood came from to make that shade, and you are not quite sure you want to know.
Thankfully, it is only a few minutes later that the entire student body has filed in and taken a tray and sat down. With a mild shock, you realize that not everyone is human. Others have sat at your table, but you have not introduced yourself to either them or the teacher/s sitting with you. No one is talking, though, so it goes unnoticed. It seems as if you are all waiting for something. As soon as everyone is sitting and silent, a small woman from one of the tables stands up. You can tell just by looking at her that she has poise and balance. She is undoubtedly a fighter of some skill. You hadn't noticed at first, but her skin has a slightly greenish tint to it. She is wearing her long read hair in a tight french braid that ends well-below her waist. She is barely five foot four inches and looks barely older than twenty five.
"Welcome to a new year at Bad Guys University. For those of you who are only now joining us, I am Headmistress Cera Dragoneska." You stare in shock. You cannot believe that she is anywhere old enough or good enough to be a teacher, let alone headmistress. However, as she sweeps her eyes around the room and you get a good look at her eyes, you realize that she is not someone with whom you want to mess. Everyone is silent. Not even the squeak of a chair sounds.
"For those of you who are returning students, I ask you to bear with me while I explain to the new students. I will keep it brief though," she continues. "I founded this school recently when I realized that evil villains out there are having to make do with substandard henchmen. They cannot shoot worth beans and are good for nothing at all. Because of this, they were consistantly losing to the Light side. At the time, I was apprenticing with someone who will remain unnamed. When I finished, I decided to begin this school so that evil geniuses will not have to settle for less than the best. Perhaps they will even win at some point or another.
"While here, you will learn to fight and how to think, among other things. The teachers and myself expect to be shown the same respect you will show your future general. If you think you can run this school better than I can, you are allowed to challenge me. I will even let you choose the weapon. However, when I win, you will be serving a punishment like none you have ever seen before. Then, it will be unlikely you will ever be recruited since no mastermind likes to be challenged by an underling. The so-called forces of light will never hire you because of your background. You will become a homeless, penniless beggar living off the kindess humanity shows you.
"By my skin color, you might be wondering what exactly I am. I will tell you that I am not human and that I grew up on a planet very different from this and very far away. You will eventually learn in your "Worlds, Galaxies, Universes, and Dimensions" class. I have powers you can only dream about, but I am not nearly perfect. No one yet has been able to figure it out. Around you, you might notice that there are others who don't look like you. I guarantee that no two of you are the same on the inside, if not on the outside. Get to know each other. You will be studying and with each other for years to come. If word gets to me that you are insulting another because of their species, you will wish for death.
"Now, you might be wondering why the teachers are interspersed among you. Here at BGU, we feel that professors should not be aloof from the students. This is more conducive to learning. In addition to getting to know the other students, you should become friendly with at least one or two teachers. If you have a problem you can come to any of us for help.
"With that, I welcome you again and wish you the best this year."
She sits back down and picks up her fork. The rest take this as a signal to begin eating and you do the same, wondering what is in store for you.

You walk outside of the school, go past the weapon's salle and down the pathway past the greenhouse, practice fields, and lake. You keep walking down the unpaved dirth pathway for a while. Finally, you reach a small town. The people who live there are under the protection of the headmistress and assistant headmistress. If an evil villain every attacks the village, no student of the school will ever work for them again. It is enough of a threat to keep the antiheroes from attacking the village.
In return for this protection, the townsfolk all take turns to tend the farmland owned by the school. This area equips the school with most of the food it needs; the rest is bartered for from the villagers.
The school and the village live amicably enough, and the townsfork even allow the students to travel to the town when they aren't in class. They can shop in any of the stores there and eat in the restaurants. They know better than to misbehave.

Fields

Past the weapon's salle and the greenhouse, and down the same dirt path as the lake, there are a variey of practice fields. Here, students can practice fighting. There are also practice fields for all sorts of fields for a variety of different sports. As long as students do not go off without telling a teacher or completely unchaperoned, students are free to use the fields whenever they want.

After crossing the entirety of the grounds, passing the greenhouse and the salle and walking along a dirt path that winds through the grassy yard, you finally reach the lake. Comparatively, it is rather small, but is still large. You sit on the sandy beach and look out at the bright blue water. It glistens invitingly.

Walking into her salle, Headmistress Cera Dragoneska began to smile. She felt most comfortable in the salle. Besides, she could beat the students and call it training. It was a great way to relieve stress. She hadn't known what she was getting into when she began the school.
Before the students arrived, she went through a series of complex stretches and practice moves. She did this whenever possible since it helped keep her fit and able to teach. Just as she finished, the students began to arrive. The bell rang and there were a few stragglers who stumbled in, hoping she wouldn't notice. Since it was the first class of the year, she would let it slide.
As always, she began the class with her customary speech. "Good morning, class! You are here to learn to fight, not to play around with weapons. While in this class, all weapons are to be treated with utmost care and respect. If I see you mistreating anything or doing anything that could potentially harm another, you will be in for punishment like you cannot imagine. Do not push me on this. you will not win." She looked around, meeting everyone's eyes with her own icy glare. It was better to strike fear into their hearts now rather than later.
"If you are late," Cera continued, "you will do three laps for every second after the bell. Then you will get into the practice ring with me. No excuses will be tolerated beyond a note from another teacher. Yet if you are late more than two consecutive days, even with the teacher's note, you will be doing much, much more. I will even ask the teacher if they wrote the note. Don't be late. Do not ask teachers for notes simply because you are too lazy to make it on time; they will not write it, and they will tell me. This is your only warning. Those of you who were late today will be excused.
"Now, while here, you will learn how to use a multitude of weapons, including the sword, the bow, the staff, and many others. Today, we will work with swords. I want all of you to take one and form two lines, facing each other. Eventually, you will make your own, but I want to start with basic stuff today. Move it!"
The students scramble to do as they were told and Cera smiles inwardly at their haste not to displease her. She finds it amusing that they are all so scared of her. When they were all ready, she went about teaching them the proper stance and footwork. Soon, she called a halt to that exercise and called for volunteers to work first with her. "Come on," she said when no one volunteered. "You all must do this today; I won't let you leave until you do. It is easier for me to help you when I see where you are." She stands there and waits for her first victi-...volunteer.

A little bit fearfully you entire the weapon's salle. From what you have heard, the headmistress is brilliant and deadly with any weapon. You are a little surprised though, that, when you enter, it is simply a rectangular room with mirrors around the outside. You presume this is so you can watch yourself as you practice. Along one wall, there are storage boxes which hold, presumably, weapons and any other practice gear you might need. The hardwood floor provides a nice surface to practice on.
